Alexandria Pritchard

Alexandria is a professional Violinist & Violist based in New York City. She has performed with orchestras including the Radio City Orchestra, Las Vegas Philharmonic, Opera Las Vegas, Columbia University Chorus, and The Asian Cultural Symphony Orchestra of the USA. With these orchestras as well as solo, Alexandria has graced some of the biggest performance halls around the world including Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, The Hollywood Bowl, and Radio City Music Hall.

Alexandria has also performed around the world with many groups including The Chainsmokers. Her string arrangements and performances have appeared in multiple Chainsmokers music videos including “Beach House” “Kills You Slowly” and “Hope” produced and directed by Sony Music, Sony ATV Publishing, and VEVO. Alexandria has performed at many high profile events such as The Super Bowl LVIII (2024), F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix (2024) The Latin Grammys (2016 & 2019), The Stellar Awards (2017 & 2018), and TED2018: The Age of Amazement. Other big named artists that Alexandria has performed alongside with include: Kygo, One Republic, Calum Scott, Bad Bunny, The Eagles, TLC, The Radio City Rockettes, ELO, Amy Grant, Winona Oak, The Chainsmokers, Oliver Dragojević, Arturo Sandoval, Reik, Laura Pausini, Jj Hairston, and Travis Greene. She has also performed for musicals including The Bridges of Madison County, In The Heights, and Sunday In The Park With George.

Aside from performing, Alexandria is a K-12 New York State certified teacher and holds a masters degree in Music Education. Alexandria partners with Carnegie Hall's education program and, therefore, teaches their curriculum of Link up and Musical Explorers. Alexandria is a Dalcroze trained educator from the Lucy Moses School at Juilliard and likes to approach teaching music in a playful and experiential style. She has experience teaching private lessons, group classes, masterclasses, and K-12 Public school education.
