Dwayne Beach

New York City born American Belizean interdisciplinary artist Dwayne Beach is keeping in vogue the distinction of a renaissance man through his work as a dancer, singer-songwriter, polyglot but mostly as a violinist and violist. As a musician he is working to make the image of classical virtuoso musicians relevant for the 21 century. He just overtook a major tour with the famed Nickelodeon series Avatar: The Last Airbender He also sat in the concertmaster chair for the Grammy Award winning musical Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill on Broadway via the first North American national tour as well as served as a steward to the musician union seeking out equitability for the touring musicians. Dwayne has been the first afro-latino, black musician to have played in the Sarajevska Filharmonija, the national Philharmonic orchestra in Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina during the 18-19’ season. He made appearances performing on some of the most stunning stages and opera houses in Canada, Italy, Monaco, Mexico, Qatar, Serbia and all around the United States

Dwayne holds a Master Degree laureate from Brooklyn College Conservatory in Violin/Viola performance and pedagogy where he studied with Masao Kawasaki. He received his Baccalaureate in Music from City University of New York @ Hunter College in Viola under the tutelage of Dr Reuben Blundell and second disciplines in Linguistics and Anthropological Studies & Literature. As well as an artistic diploma from Accademia Walter Stauffer Cremona, Italy.
