
Epongue Ekille
Epongue Wei-Dikaki Ekille, a Cameroonian- and Taiwanese-American historical and modern violinist, enjoys an incredibly varied career. On modern violin, she performs regularly with NYC ensembles such as the American Composers Orchestra and the Orchestra of St. Luke’s. She has been featured on ESPN and The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. Epongue currently plays as a violin on Broadway (Ragtime, Sweeney Todd, The Great Gatsby) and is active in the studio recording scene in New York City. As a baroque violinist, she has played with Juilliard415, at the Carmel Bach Festival, and with Bach Vespers Holy Trinity. Epongue holds a bachelor’s and master’s from Yale College and Yale School of the Environment, both degrees in Environmental Management. She is also Project Coordinator for the development consulting firm A.D. Hamingson and Associates. Epongue is currently pursuing a Master’s in Historical Performance at Juilliard.
